As technology has moved on so have we. We don't build our baths from steel and cast iron any more - instead we use super high density acrylic sheet. Why? Simple - acrylic is a far better insulator than cast iron, which means hot water stays hotter for longer, saving money and energy. And acrylic keeps its showroom shine much longer than cast iron ever could. A scratched enamel bath needs a full relining - often expensive and awkward when on site. Our acrylic sheets though are very thick, and marks can be simply polished out.
